What is Archaic Latin? Commonly called Early or Old Latin, Archaic Latin is presumably the period of Latin before the Golden Age, around 75 BC. At this point, anything went—as you can see with the multitudinous possibilities of inflection in a few cases—and Latin was not formulated to as where you see it today, or of the following Classical Period.
